Important Info about Avandament

The generic name for Avandament is Metformin & Rosiglitazona. The most important piece of information to give customers about Avandament is that if you have kidney disease or if you are in a state of diabetic ketoacidosis, then do not use Avandament. Instead, you should call your doctor for treatment with insulin.

Before starting Avandament, tell your doctor if you have congestive heart failure or heart disease, a history of heart attack or stroke, liver disease, or eye problems caused by diabetes. Some people have actually developed a life-threatening condition called lactic acidosis while taking Avandament. Get emergency medical help if you have any of these symptoms of lactic acidosis which are: weakness, increased sleepiness, slow heart rate, feeling of cold, muscle pain, shortness of breath, stomach pain, feeling light-headed and fainting.

Some women using Avandament have started having menstrual periods, even after not having a period for a long time due to a medical condition. Talk with your doctor about the need for birth control. Women may also be more likely than men to have bone fractures in the upper arm, hand, or foot while taking Avandamet. Again, consult with your doctor if you are concerned about this possibility.
